So I kicked off Halloween scary-movie season with The Others (2001) and this was a perfect Friday night flick. Nicole Kidman is really great in this movie and the plot twist is fun (think The Sixth Sense 1999). It’s a moody, foggy dimly lit film that draws you in and holds onto you. Set in 1945 in the Jersey countryside, it involves a woman and her two children who begin to experience super-scary phenomena after new servants arrive. That’s all you need to know!
